White Chocolate-Frosted Cashew Blondies Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. BLONDIES

  2. 1cupsalted cashews
  3. 1cup packedlight brown sugaror dark brown sugar
  4. 1/3cupvegetable oil
  5. 1teaspoonvanilla extract
  6. 2eggs
  7. 1 1/4cupsflour
  8. 1teaspoonbaking powder
  9. 1/4teaspoonsalt (optional)
  10. FROSTING

  11. 3ounceswhite chocolate, chopped
  12. 2tablespoonsbutter, softened
  13. 2tablespoonsmilk
  14. 1cuppowdered sugar
  15. 1wholecashew, for garnish,if desired

DIRECTIONS

  1. BLONDIES: Preheat oven to 350*F; grease an 8-or-9″ square baking pan.
  2. In a food processor fitted with the metal blade, process 1/2 cup of the cashews until ground; place in a medium bowl.
  3. Coarsely chop the remaining cashews; set aside.
  4. Add the brown sugar, oil, vanilla, and eggs to the ground cashews; beat well.
  5. Add the flour, baking powder, salt (if using), and chopped cashews; mix well.
  6. Spread batter evenly in the prepared pan; bake for 20-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  7. Cool for 1 hour on a wire rack.
  8. MAKE THE FROSTING: In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the white chocolate, stirring constantly; remove pan from heat.
  9. Add the butter, milk, and powdered sugar; beat until smooth.
  10. Spread evenly over the cooled bars; cut into squares.
  11. Garnish each with a whole cashew, if desired.

Tangy Meatballs Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. Meatballs

  2. 1cupbreadcrumbs
  3. 1cupmilk
  4. 2lbsground beef
  5. 1cuponions
  6. 2eggs, lightly beaten
  7. 1/2teaspoonsalt
  8. 1dashpepper
  9. Sauce

  10. 2 (12 ounce)bottles of brooks tangycatsup
  11. 1 (10 ounce)jarapple jelly
  12. 1dashoregano
  13. 1dashonion salt
  14. 1dashgarlic salt

DIRECTIONS

  1. For Meatballs- Mix all meatball ingredients together, make into tsp size balls, and place on cookie sheet.
  2. Bake at 350F for 25 minutes (I usually start preparing the sauce about 15 minutes into the meatballs baking).
  3. Drain.
  4. For Sauce- Cook in saucepan till jelly dissolved and sauce is hot.
  5. Add cooked meatballs and serve!

Amaretto and Bartlett Pears Upside- Down Cake Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 10tablespoonsbutter, divided
  2. 1/2cup packedbrown sugar
  3. 2tablespoonshoney
  4. 2large ripebartlett pears, peeled and cored
  5. 1 1/2cupsflour
  6. 1/2cupsugar
  7. 1 1/2teaspoonsbaking powder
  8. 1/2teaspooncinnamon
  9. 1/4salt
  10. 2eggs
  11. 1/2cupmilk
  12. 1/4Amarettoor otheralmond flavored liqueur
  13. lightly sweetened whipped cream
  14. toasted sliced almonds

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Butter six 1 1/4 cup ramekins, custard cups or giant muffin tins.
  2. Melt 4 tbsp butter in a small saucepan Add brown sugar and honey Cook over low heat for about 2 minutes until mixture no longer separates Divide mixture evenly between prepared dishes.
  3. Cut each pear into 12 wedges and place 4 wedges in the bottom of each dish: set aside In medium bowl, beat remaining 6 tbsp butter until light and fluffy.
  4. Beat in eggs and vanilla In a separate bowl, combine all dry ingredients.
  5. Combine milk and amaretto in a bowl.
  6. Add half the dry ingredients to the butter and sugar mixture, then half the liquid, beating well after each addition.
  7. Repeat until all ingredients are combined.
  8. Pour batter into the 6 prepared dishes, smoothing the top.
  9. Bake 25 to 30 minutes, until cooked through.
  10. Remove from oven and place on rack for 10 minutes.
  11. Carefully flip each dish over onto serving plates to remove from dish Serve immediately with lightly sweetened cream and toasted almond slices.

Easy Salisbury Steaks Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. Steaks

  2. 1/2cupbreadcrumbs
  3. 1/2cupmilk
  4. 1lbground beef
  5. 1/2cuponions
  6. 1egg, lightly beaten
  7. salt and pepper, to taste
  8. Gravy

  9. 1cancream of mushroom soup
  10. 1/2cupmilk
  11. 2packetsbrown gravy mix

DIRECTIONS

  1. For Steaks- Mix all steak ingredients together and make into patties (I usually get around 5).
  2. Bake at 350F for about 20 minutes (you can also fry in skillet as you would cheeseburgers).
  3. For Gravy- Mix together in skillet and add steaks!
  4. Enjoy!

Ham & Cheddar Crescents Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1 (8 ounce)canrefrigerated crescent dinner rolls
  2. 8slicesham, thin
  3. 1/2cup shreddedcheddar cheese

DIRECTIONS

  1. Heat oven to 375°F.
  2. Separate dough into 8 triangles.
  3. Place ham slice and 1 tbsp cheese on each triangle.
  4. Roll loosely from shortest side of the triangle to opposite point.
  5. Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
  6. Bake for 12-16 minutes or until crescents are golden brown.
