Haricot Mutton Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1canharicot beans
  2. 1tablespoonoil
  3. 1largeonion, sliced
  4. 1sweet red pepper, chopped
  5. 500-600g stewingmutton, cubed
  6. 1tablespoonflour, about
  7. 600ml goodstock
  8. salt and pepper
  9. 3potatoes

DIRECTIONS

  1. Heat oil in large saucepan and fry onions, capsicum and meat.
  2. Stir in flour and cook gently for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.
  3. Gradually add stock.
  4. Bring to the boil, stirring well until it thickens slightly.
  5. Add drained beans and seasonings.
  6. Cover and simmer for about 2 hours.
  7. Slice potatoes and place in a layer on the stew.
  8. Season, then cover and simmer for a further 25 minutes or until potatoes are cooked.
  9. To serve gently lift out potatoes and place on plate, spoon stew over the top.

Quick Quiche Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1cupmilk
  2. 1/2cupbaking mix
  3. 3eggs
  4. salt and pepper
  5. gratedcheese
  6. slicedtomatoes
  7. onionsor bacon or beans(etc, op)

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 180c (moderate) Beat eggs.
  2. Add milk and pastry mix and seasonings.
  3. Blend thoroughly.
  4. Place the optional things thing an oiled pie dish and pour over pastry mix.
  5. Carefully lay down some sliced tomatoes and sprinkle over grated cheese.
  6. Bake for about 40-45 minutes.

caper stuffed veal Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1/4cup drainedcapers
  2. 2tablespoons choppedItalian parsley
  3. 1/3cupdry breadcrumbs
  4. 1/2teaspoonanchovy paste
  5. 1/2cupred wine
  6. 4tablespoonsolive oil
  7. 1 1/2lbsveal scallopini
  8. 8cloves mincedgarlic
  9. 1tablespoonbutter
  10. 15ouncescrushed tomatoes
  11. 10ouncesspinach
  12. 1lb driedspaghetti
  13. salt and pepper
  14. red pepper flakes, to taste

DIRECTIONS

  1. fold together anchovy paste, bread crumbs, parsley, capers and 2 tbsp olive oil- this is your stuffing salt and pepper the veal roll up some stuffing in each scaloppine, securing the rolls with toothpicks as you go heat butter and remaining oil in a large pan over med-high heat brown veal rolls and remove reduce the stove to med- low heat add garlic to your pan and saute for 30 sec.
  2. add wine and deglaze pan stir in the tomato, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes bring mixture to a simmer return veal rolls to the pan and cover cook 20 minutes, turning veal rolls once meanwhile, salt your water and cook your spaghetti place veal in serving dish add spinach to tomato mixture and stir until spinach wilts pour sauce over veal and serve with side of pasta.

tiramisu for atkins dieters Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 3egg whites
  2. 24packetsEqual sugar substitute
  3. 8ouncesmascarpone cheese
  4. 3egg yolks
  5. 5ouncesstrong coffee
  6. 1tablespooncognac
  7. 12ladyfingers
  8. 1/2tablespoonbutter

DIRECTIONS

  1. beat egg whites to stiff peaks and fold in 10 equal packets.
  2. beat cheese and egg yolks together, then fold in 14 equal packets.
  3. toss ladyfingers in cognac and coffee.
  4. butter a pyrex dish and line it with the lady fingers.
  5. spoon cheese mixture on top of them.
  6. top with egg white mixture.
  7. if needed, repeat layering process.

mango-jerk tuna Recipe

  2. 1shallot, cut into quarters
  3. 2tablespoons store boughtmild jerk sauce
  4. 2tablespoonslime juice
  5. 1teaspoonhoney
  6. 28ouncestuna steaks, cut into 4 filets

DIRECTIONS

  1. puree first 5 ingredients.
  2. pour into ziploc bag.
  3. add tuna.
  4. marinate 3- 5 hrs.
  5. grill to taste.
