INGREDIENTS
- 2tablespoonsolive oil
- 6cloves choppedgarlic
- 1cananchovies, drained
- 32ouncescrushed tomatoes(cento tomatoes are the perfect thickness for this recipe)
- 1/4cup freshflat leaf parsley, chopped
- 1teaspoonred pepper flakes
- 20kalamata olives, coarse chopped
- 3tablespoonscapers
- 1 1/2lbsfresh tomatoes, peeled,cored,seeded,and roughly chopped(i like a mixture of yellow and red tomato)
- 1lb driedspaghetti
DIRECTIONS
- in a pot of boiling, salted water, start cooking the pasta.
- in a large pan,heat oil, garlic, pepper flakes, and anchovies over med heat.
- as mixture warms, break anchovies apart into very small pieces and stir until they almost seem to dissolve.
- add all remaining ingredients except pasta and fresh tomato.
- simmer until sauce has almost reached desired thickness.
- add fresh tomato and continue simmering to desired thickness.
- you pasta should be cooked to al dente and drained by now, toss it with the sauce until heated through, then remove from heat and serve, garnishing with some more presh parsley and some grateed parmesan or pecorino romano.

INGREDIENTS
- 2cupscooked chicken
- 1green pepper, diced
- 1onion, diced
- 1cancorn, drained
- 1cupsalsa
- 2cupschicken broth
- 2cupsMinute brown rice
- 1cup shreddedcheese
DIRECTIONS
- Saute onion and pepper.
- Add chicken salsa, corn, broth and bring to a boil.
- Add rice, stir and let stand covered 5-10 minutes.
- Top with olives, if desired, and cheese.
- Serve with sour cream and cheese.

INGREDIENTS
- 1/4cupshortening
- 2lbs cubedbeef
- 1cup slicedonions
- 3/4cupcatsup
- 1clovegarlic, minced
- 2tablespoonsWorcestershire sauce
- 1tablespoonbrown sugar
- 2teaspoonssalt
- 2teaspoonspaprika
- 1/2teaspoondry mustard
- 1dashred cayenne pepper
- 1 1/2cupswater
- 2tablespoonsflour
- 1/4cupwater
- 3cups cookednoodles
DIRECTIONS
- Melt shortening in skillet.
- Add meat, onion and garlic.
- Cook and stir until meat is brown and onion is tender.
- Stir in catsup, worcestershire sauce, sugar, salt, paprika, mustard, cayenne and 1 1/2 c.
- water.
- Place in crock pot and simmer there at least 2-21/2 hours.
- Blend flour and 1/4 c.
- water and add to meat mixture.
- Bring to boil.
- Serve over noodles.

INGREDIENTS

Cake
- 1boxGerman chocolate cake mix
- 1 (3 1/4 ounce)boxvanilla instant pudding mix
- 2/3cupvegetable oil
- 4eggs
- 1 (12 ounce)canDr. Pepper cola
- 1teaspoonvanilla

Frosting
- 1 (8 ounce)packagecream cheese
- 1/2cupbutteror margarine
- 1/4cupcocoa
- 1teaspoonvanilla
- 1lbpowdered sugar
- 1cup choppedpecansor maraschino cherries (optional)
DIRECTIONS
- Cake: Combine first 3 ingredients, beating with mixer until well blended.
- Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Add Dr Pepper, mix well (about 5 min on med to med high speed will thicken that batter).
- Pour batter into 3 waxed-paper-lined 9 inch cake pans.
- (If you choose cherries, replace 1/4 cup of Dr. Pepper with 1/4 cup cherry juice).
- Bake 15 325 degrees for 35 min.
- Cool in pans 10 min.
- before removing.
- Frost when cool.
- Frosting:Beat first 5 ingredients until light and fluffy.
- (mix in pecans or cherries optional).
- or (use cherries or pecans as decoration after cake is frosted).

INGREDIENTS
- 2tablespoonsbutter
- 1 1/2-2teaspoonscurry powder
- 1 1/2tablespoonsflour
- 3cupschicken broth
- 1/4-1/2teaspoonpaprika
- 2egg yolks
- 1/2cupcream
- 1/2cupcooked chicken breasts, chopped very fine
- 3-4tablespoonschutney (optional)
DIRECTIONS
- Melt butter in large saucepan.
- Add flour and curry powder and stir until blended.
- Whisk in chicken broth; heat and whisk until it comes to a boil;add paprika.
- Beat together egg yolks and cream.
- Reduce heat until soup is not boiling.
- Stir in egg yolk mixture, and continue to cook and stir until soup thickens.
- DO NOT BOIL.
- Add chicken meat.
- and warm through Garnish with chutney.
