Rich Butterscotch Bars Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1 (10 ounce)packagebutterscotch chips
  2. 1/2cupbutter(no substitutes)
  3. 2cupsgraham cracker crumbs(about 32 squares)
  4. 1 (8 ounce)packagecream cheese, softened
  5. 1cansweetened condensed milk
  6. 1egg
  7. 1teaspoonvanilla
  8. 1cup choppedpecans

DIRECTIONS

  1. Set oven to 325 degrees.
  2. grease a 13×9-in baking pan.
  3. in a micowave-safe dish, heat the butterscotch chips and butter until melted about 1-1/2-2 mins, stirring occasionally, until smooth.
  4. add the cracker crumbs to the melted butter and melted butterscotch chips; set aside 2/3 cup.
  5. press the remaining crumb mixture into greased prepared pan.
  6. in a small bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth.
  7. add the sweetened milk, egg and vanilla; mix well.
  8. stir in pecans.
  9. pour over the crust.
  10. sprinkle with the reserved crumb mixture.
  11. bake for 30-35 mins, or until bars tests for done.
  12. cool, cut in bars.
  13. store in the refigerator.

Mean Chef’s Lemon Sour Cream Muffins Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1/2cupunsalted butter
  2. 2cupsunbleached white flour
  3. 1cupsugar
  4. 1/2teaspoonsalt
  5. 1teaspoonbaking soda
  6. 2teaspoonsbaking powder
  7. 2largeeggs, beaten
  8. 1cupsour cream
  9. 1/4cuplemon juice
  10. 1lemon, juice and zest of

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350°.
  2. Grease muffin tins.
  3. Melt the butter and let cool.
  4. Thoroughly mix all the dry ingredients in a large bowl.
  5. Whisk together the eggs and sour cream in a smaller bowl.
  6. Stir in the butter, 1/4 cup lemon juice, and zest and juice of lemon.
  7. Make a well in the middle of the dry ingredients.
  8. Add wet ingredients and mix with as few strokes as possible.
  9. Don’t overmix.
  10. Spoon batter into muffin tins.
  11. Bake at 350° for 25 minutes.

Lemon Sugar Cookies Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1cupbutter
  2. 1 1/2cupssugar
  3. 1/2cupsour cream
  4. 3cupsflour
  5. 1/4teaspoonsalt
  6. 1teaspoonbaking powder
  7. 1teaspoonbaking soda
  8. 1teaspoonvanilla extract
  9. 1tablespoonlemon juice
  10. additionalsugar

DIRECTIONS

  1. Cream butter and sugar.
  2. Add sour cream; blend well.
  3. Add vanilla and lemon juice or extract.
  4. Add dry ingredients.
  5. Chill 3 to 4 hours.
  6. When ready to bake, preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  7. Grease cookie sheets.
  8. Shape dough into small balls and roll in extra sugar.
  9. Flatten balls using the bottom of a glass after arranging on cookie sheets.
  10. Bake 10 minutes or until lightly browned.

Mean Chef’s Chocolate Sugar Cookies Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 2 1/2cupsall-purpose flour
  2. 1/4cupunsweetened cocoa powder
  3. 1teaspoonbaking soda
  4. 1teaspooncream of tartar
  5. 1cupunsalted butter, softened
  6. 1 1/2cupsconfectioners’ sugar
  7. 1largeegg
  8. 1teaspoonvanilla extract
  9. granulated sugar

DIRECTIONS

  1. Sift the flour, cocoa, baking soda and cream of tartar together in a medium bowl and with a wire whisk, stir to combine.
  2. In a large bowl, using a hand-held mixer at medium speed, beat the butter for 30 seconds, or until creamy.
  3. Add the sugar and continue beating for 2 to 3 minutes until the mixture is light in texture and color.
  4. Scrape down the sides of the bowl with a rubber spatula.
  5. Add the egg and vanilla extract and beat well.
  6. At low speed beat in the flour mixture, in two additions, scraping down the sides of the bowl after each addition.
  7. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate.
  8. Position a rack in the center of the oven and preheat to 375°F.
  9. On a well-floured surface, roll out half of dough at a time to 1/4-inch thickness.
  10. Using a cookie cutter cut into shapes and sprinkle with granulated sugar.
  11. Bake on an ungreased baking sheet for 5-8 minutes or until lightly browned at edges.
  12. Cool. Decorate as desired.

Best Gingerbread Cookies Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 5cupsflour
  2. 1tablespoonginger
  3. 1tablespoonbaking soda
  4. 1cupmargarine
  5. 1cupbrown sugar, firmly packed
  6. 2largeeggs
  7. 1cupmolasses
  8. 2tablespoonsvinegar

DIRECTIONS

  1. Combine first 3 ingredients in bowl.
  2. Cream margarine, add sugar then eggs one at a time.
  3. Now add the molasses and vinegar.
  4. Mix in the flour.
  5. Roll out and use cookie cutters.
  6. Bake 10-12 minutes at 350°F.
  7. After they are baked you can decorate the way you like.
