Dutch Cake Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. Cake

  2. 4ouncesbutter
  3. 1egg
  4. 1teaspoonbaking powder
  5. 1 1/2cupsflour
  6. 4ouncessugar
  7. Topping

  8. 4tablespoonssugar
  9. 4tablespoonsflour
  10. 1teaspooncinnamon
  11. 2tablespoonsbutter
  12. 1teaspoonbaking powder
  13. 1tablespooncocoa

DIRECTIONS

  1. Turn oven on to 350 F.
  2. Cake: Cream the butter and sugar, add egg and then the dry ingredients which have been sifted together first.
  3. Press into a non-stick flat tin.
  4. Topping: Cream the butter and sugar and then add the sifted dry ingredients.
  5. Spread over the cake mixture.
  6. Bake until cooked which usually takes 20-30 minutes.

Peanut Butter and Banana Milkshake Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1mediumbanana, sliced
  2. 2-3tablespoonscreamy peanut butter
  3. 1cup2% low-fat milk
  4. 2scoopslow-fat vanilla ice cream

DIRECTIONS

  1. In blender, place banana, peanut butter and milk.
  2. Cover and blend well.
  3. Add ice cream, cover and blend until smooth.

Champagne Dijon Vinaigrette Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 2teaspoonsDijon mustard
  2. 1/4cupchampagne vinegar
  3. 3/4cupolive oil
  4. 1/2teaspoonsalt
  5. fresh ground black pepper

DIRECTIONS

  1. Place all ingredients in a small glass jar and shake until oil is emulsified.
  2. May be kept in refrigerator up to 1 month.
  3. Homemade champagne vinegar can be done by storing leftover champagne in an open jar, at room temperature for a few weeks.
  4. It will turn into vinegar.

Baby Food- chicken Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 2teaspoonsbutteror margarine
  2. 1teaspoonunbleached flour
  3. 1/4cupmilk
  4. 1/4cupchickens, cooked,boned and shredded
  5. 1/4largepotato, boiled or baked and cubed
  6. 1tablespoon gratedwhite cheddar cheeseor mild cheddar cheese (optional)
  7. vegetables, of your choice (optional)
  8. salt (optional)

DIRECTIONS

  1. Grill or bake chicken, remove bones and shred.
  2. Bake or boil potato and chop into small cubes or mash.
  3. Melt butter in a saucepan.
  4. Add milk,flour, and cheese and make a sauce.
  5. Add chicken and potato to it.
  6. Add remaining ingredients.

Veggie Walnut Pate Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1/2cupwalnuts
  2. 8-10button mushrooms
  3. 2shallots, chopped
  4. 1clovegarlic, minced
  5. 2cupscarrotsor green beansor zucchinior broccolior cauliflower or squash(precooked)or red peppersor green peppers
  6. 1teaspoondried basil
  7. 1teaspoondried marjoram
  8. sea salt
  9. black pepper, to taste
  10. 2tablespoonsolive oil
  11. 1tablespoonlemon juice

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a blend, mix all ingredients except olive oil and lemon juice to the consistency of coarse bread crumbs.
  2. Heat the olive oil in a skillet.
  3. Saute the blended ingredients in the oil for 6-8 minutes.
  4. Add the lemon juice.
  5. Serve and enjoy.
