Pineapple Delight Cake Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1boxbutter recipe cake mix(you can use just yellow)
  2. 1/2cupWesson Oil
  3. 1 (4 ounce)canmandarin oranges, with juice
  4. 4eggs
  5. 1 (16 ounce)containerCool Whip
  6. 1 (16 ounce)cancrushed pineapple in juice
  7. 1 (3 1/2 ounce)boxinstant vanilla pudding

DIRECTIONS

  1. Beat cake mix, oil, oranges and eggs together.
  2. Bake at 325 degrees for about 30 minutes.
  3. Cool completely.
  4. Make frosting: Drain a little of the juice off the pineapple and reserve.
  5. Put the pineapple in a large bowl.
  6. Sprinkle pudding on top.
  7. Fold in Cool Whip.
  8. If this seems stiff, add some of reserved juice.
  9. Frost cake, and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Chili Cheese Bake Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 3cupswhite rice, cooked
  2. 1 (16 ounce)cankidney beans, rinsed and drained
  3. 1mediumonion, chopped
  4. 1 (4 ounce)can choppedgreen chilies
  5. 2-3cloves fresh mincedgarlic
  6. 2teaspoonschili powder
  7. 2teaspoonsground cumin
  8. 1teaspoondried oregano
  9. 1teaspooncreole seasoning
  10. 1/2teaspoonsalt
  11. 3cups shreddedcheddar cheese, divided

DIRECTIONS

  1. Set oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Grease a 2-qt baking dish.
  3. In a prepared baking dish, combine all ingredients, except the cheese.
  4. Top with 1-1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese.
  5. Cover, and bake for 25 mins.
  6. Remove from oven and sprinkle the remaining 1-1/2 cups cheese.
  7. Return to oven, bake uncovered, for another 10 minutes longer.

The best meatloaf you’ll ever eat Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. Meat loaf

  2. 4-6slicesbacon
  3. 1cupbreadcrumbs
  4. 1egg
  5. 1/2cupmilk
  6. 1 1/2lbsground beef
  7. 1mediumonion, chopped
  8. 4tablespoonscatsup
  9. salt & pepper
  10. Sauce

  11. 4tablespoonsvinegar
  12. 2tablespoonsLea & Perrins Worcestershire Sauce
  13. 1/2cuponions, chopped
  14. 4tablespoonsbrown sugar
  15. 1/2cupcatsup

DIRECTIONS

  1. Place bacon on bottom of a pan Combine meat loaf ingredients.
  2. I make about 2 loaves.
  3. Place loaves on top of bacon.
  4. Combine ingredients for the sauce and bring to a boil-simmer about 10 minutes.
  5. Bake meatloaf at 350 for 1 hour and baste with sauce while cooking.

Fruitcake Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 2cupsbutter
  2. 8eggs
  3. 5cupsflour
  4. 1/2teaspoonnutmeg
  5. 1/2teaspoonmace
  6. 1/2teaspooncinnamon
  7. 1teaspoonalmond extract
  8. 1 1/2lbslight raisins
  9. 4lbsmixed candied fruit(cherries, pineapple, etc)
  10. 4cupspecans
  11. 2cupswhite sugar
  12. 1teaspoonbaking powder
  13. 1/2teaspoonsalt
  14. 1teaspoonvanilla
  15. 1/2cuphoney
  16. 1/2cupbrandy, plus extra for basting

DIRECTIONS

  1. Combine fruit, raisins and pecans in a bowl.
  2. Stir in 1 cup flour.
  3. Cream butter, sugar, spices and eggs until light.
  4. Combine remaining flour, salt and baking powder.
  5. Combine honey, vanilla, almond extract and brandy; blend well.
  6. Alternately add flour mixture and honey mixture to the butter mixture, beating well after each addition.
  7. Stir in fruit-nut mixture.
  8. Spoon into pans-batter should be too stiff to pour.
  9. Bake at 250º for two hours, until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  10. While still hot, spoon 2 tablespoons of brandy over each cake.
  11. When cool, cover with foil; let stand in cool place for at least two weeks; every 3 days pour one tablespoon brandy over each.

Herbed Cucumber Canapes Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. pepperidge farm thin slicedbread
  2. 8ouncescream cheese, softened
  3. 1teaspoondry ranch dressing mix
  4. dill weed
  5. 1/2-1teaspooncream
  6. 1seedless European cucumber
  7. 1/2cupunsalted butter

DIRECTIONS

  1. Cut bread into rounds with cutters- 1 1/2- 2″ diameter.
  2. Slice cucumbers into 1/8″ slices.
  3. Thinly spread rounds with butter.
  4. Mix cream cheese, ranch dressing mix, dill weed, and cream.
  5. Spread bread with herbed cream cheese mix.
  6. Top with cucumber slice.
  7. Add remainder of cheese into pastry bag fitted with star tip.
  8. Pipe star on top of cucumber.
  9. Garnish with dill sprig.
