INGREDIENTS
- 2cupsflour
- 1/2teaspoonsalt
- 2-4tablespoonsshortening
- 2/3cupmilk(about)
- 2teaspoonsbaking powder
DIRECTIONS
- Sift flour, salt, powder.
- Add shortening and mix well.
- Stir in milk with a fork.
- Turn dough onto floured moulding board.
- Knead 10 to 20 times.
- Roll or pat out to 1/2 to 3/4 thickness.
- Cut.
- Place on greased baking sheet.
- Bake in oven at 450 degrees for 12-15 minutes.

INGREDIENTS
- 2tablespoonschili powder
- 1tablespoongarlic powder
- 1tablespoononion powder
- 3tablespoonswhite sugar
- 1tablespoonsalt
- 1/2teaspoonground allspice
- 1/2teaspoonground cumin
- 1/4teaspoonwhite pepper
- 1tablespoonpaprika
- 6 (6 ounce)salmon fillets
- 1tablespoonolive oil
- 1lbmixed salad greens
- 1 1/2cupstomato cocktail juice
- 1tablespoonapple cider vinegar
- 1/2cupchopped tomatoes
- 4tablespoonsolive oil
DIRECTIONS
- For the rub: In a small bowl, combine the chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, sugar, salt, allspice, cumin, white pepper and paprika.
- Mix well and sprinkle all but 1 1/2 tablespoons of the rub on all sides of the salmon.
- Cover salmon and refrigerate for 6 hours.
- Reserve the 1 1/2 tablespoons of rub for the vinaigrette.
- Preheat an outdoor grill for high heat and lightly oil grate.
- Lightly apply a thin film of olive oil to the salmon fillets.
- Grill over high heat for 8 to 10 minutes, or to desired doneness.
- For the mixed greens and vinaigrette: Clean and refresh the greens; dry thoroughly.
- In a small bowl, combine the tomato-vegetable juice cocktail, vinegar, tomatoes, olive oil and reserved rub.
- Mix well and toss with the greens.
- Divide greens among plates.
- Top each plate with a salmon fillet and spoon any remaining vinaigrette over the salmon.

INGREDIENTS
- 4mediumacorn squash, cut in half
- 1/4cuporange juice, diluted with
- 1/4cupwater
- 1tablespoonhoney
- 1dashallspice
- 1cupcranberry sauce(homemade or canned)
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Scrape seeds out of squash and, if necessary, cut a thin slice from bottom of squash so they stand upright.
- Pour orange juice into a 9×13 inch ovenproof glass dish and arrange squash, cavity-side down, in liquid.
- Bake until almost tender, about 30 minutes.
- Turn over, brush with honey and sprinkle with allspice.
- Fill each cavity with 2 tbsp of cranberry sauce.
- Bake an additional 15 minutes before serving.

INGREDIENTS
- 2cupsvanilla wafer crumbs
- 1/3cupbutter or margarine, melted
- 1cuppeanuts, finely chopped,divided
- 8ouncescream cheese, softened
- 1cupconfectioners’ sugar(10x)
- 1/2cuppeanut butter
- 4cupsCool Whip, divided
- 3cups coldmilk
- 8ouncesinstant chocolate pudding mix
- 1chocolate bar(grated or divided we like Symphony)
DIRECTIONS
- Combine crumbs, butter& 2/3 c.
- peanuts.
- Press into an ungreased 9×13 pan.
- Bake at 350 for 8-10 minutes, or until lightly browned.
- Cool completely.
- In bowl, beat cream cheese, sugar& peanut butter until smooth.
- Fold in 2 c.
- Cool Whip.
- Spread over crust.
- In bowl, beat milk and puddings on low for two minutes.
- Carefully spread over cream cheese layer.
- Cover and refrigerate 4-6 hours.
- Just before serving, carefully spread remaining Cool Whip over pudding layer.
- Sprinkle w/ grated chocolate (or place broken candy bar pieces on top), and remaining peanuts.

INGREDIENTS
- 1tablespoonyeast
- 1cupwarm water
- 1teaspoonsugar
- 2eggs, beaten
- 1/2cuplard
- 1cupraisins (optional)
- 2 1/2cupsflour
- 1cupsugar
- 2teaspoonscinnamon
- 1teaspoonsalt
- 1teaspoonbaking soda
- 1dashnutmeg
- 1dashground cloves
- 1dashallspice
DIRECTIONS
- Dissolve yeast in water.
- Add sugar.
- In separate bowl, mix eggs and lard; stir in raisins.
- Add to yeast.
- Mix flour, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, allspice, soda& salt.
- Pour into above mix.
- Let set in warm place for 30 minutes.
- Bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
