INGREDIENTS

CAKE
- 1packagewhite cake mix
- 3tablespoonsflour
- 1/2cupwater
- 5ouncesfrozen strawberries
- 2/3cupoil
- 3eggs
- 1 (3 ounce)boxstrawberry Jell-O gelatin dessert

ICING
- 1/2cup softenedbutter
- 3ouncescream cheese, softened
- 1lbpowdered sugar
- strawberries
DIRECTIONS
- Mix cake mix, flour and jello together.
- Add water, berries eggs and oil.
- Beat thoroughly.
- Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes in a greased 9×13 pan or until light brown.
- ICING: Beat butter and cream cheese together.
- Add powdered sugar and enough strawberries to make mixture fluffy.

INGREDIENTS
- 8ouncesziti pasta or rigatoni pasta, cooked,drained,and rinsed
- 1cup lightly packedfresh spinach leaves
- 1/4cup lightly packedfresh basil leaves
- 2clovesgarlic
- 2tablespoons shreddedparmesan cheese
- 1/8teaspoonsalt
- 1/8teaspoonpepper
- 1tablespoonolive oil
- 1tablespoonwater
- 1/2cuplight mayonnaise
DIRECTIONS
- In a blender combine spinach, basil, garlic, cheese, salt and pepper.
- Add oil and water, cover and blend until nearly smooth and mixture is a paste.
- Add mayo to the spinach mixture.
- Add to pasta and toss well to coat.
- Chill at least 4 hours covered.
- Can be made the day before.

INGREDIENTS
- 1/2gallonvanilla ice cream
- 2boxespistachio pudding mix
- 1/2cupbutter
- 1cupmilk
- 1packageOreo cookies
- 1 (8 ounce)containerCool Whip
DIRECTIONS
- Crush 2 rows of oreos.
- Press in 9×13 pan and pour melted stick of butter over crumbs.
- Freeze until hardened.
- Mix milk and pudding, then add softened ice cream.
- Mix well.
- Pour over crust.
- Freeze.
- Spread with cool whip and sprinkle with remaining crumbled oreos.

INGREDIENTS
- 1 (1 lb)packageyellow split peas
- 1lbham steak, cubed
- 1largeonion, minced
- 2carrots, finely diced
- 2celery ribs, finely diced
- 4largepotatoes, coarsely diced
- 1bay leaf
- 1/2teaspoonthyme leaves
- 2 1/2quartsham stock(or water, and boullion cubes)
- salt and pepper
DIRECTIONS
- Wash and sort peas.
- Place all ingredients except potatoes in a larger soup pot and bring to a boil.
- Cover and reduce heat to medium low, and simmer 30 minutes or so.
- Add potatoes and continue to simmer 1-2 hours, or until desired thickness is achieved.
- The longer you leave it on the heat, the thicker it will become.
- Serve hot with caraway rye bread.

INGREDIENTS
- 1/2cupsour cream
- 1/2cupmayonnaise, do not use low fat
- 2teaspoons spicyprepared mustard
- 1/2teaspoonsalt
- 1/2teaspoondried thyme
- 1/2teaspoondill weed
- 5cups cookedegg noodles
- 2 (6 ounce)canstuna, drained
- 1/2cup choppedcelery
- 1smallzucchini, sliced
- 1cup shreddedcheddar cheese
- 1mediumtomato, chopped
- 1jalapeno, chopped
DIRECTIONS
- In a small bowl combine first 6 ingredients.
- In a seperate bowl comibine noodles, tuna, celery, and jalepeno.
- Stir in sour cream mixture.
- In grease 2 quart, microwave safe dish, pour half of noodle mixture.
- Cover with a layer of sliced zucchini.
- Repeat layers.
- Microwave on high 6-8 minutes uncovered.
- Sprinkle with cheese and tomato.
- Microwave 2-3 minutes longer.
- Let stand 3 minutes.
