Irish Coffee with Bailey’s and Kahlua Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 3/4ounce baileyirish cream
  2. 3/4ounceKahlua
  3. 4ounces hotcoffee
  4. whipped cream

DIRECTIONS

  1. Pour Baileys and Kahlua into Irish coffee glass.
  2. Fill glass with hot coffee.
  3. Top with whipped cream and serve.

The Ultimate Lasagna Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 3/4lbsweet Italian sausage links
  2. 1lblean ground beef
  3. 1/2cup finely choppedonions
  4. 2garlic cloves, crushed
  5. 1 (28 ounce)cancrushed tomatoes
  6. 2 (6 ounce)canstomato paste
  7. 2 (6 1/2 ounce)canscanned tomato sauce
  8. 1/2cupwater
  9. 2tablespoonssugar
  10. 1 1/2teaspoonsdried basil leaves
  11. 1tablespoonsalt
  12. 1/2teaspoonfennel seeds
  13. 1/4teaspoonground black pepper
  14. 4tablespoons choppedfresh parsley
  15. 12lasagna noodles
  16. 16ouncesricotta cheese
  17. 1egg
  18. 1/2teaspoonsalt
  19. 3/4lbmozzarella cheese, sliced
  20. 3/4cup gratedparmesan cheese

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a Dutch oven, cook sausage, ground beef, onion, and garlic over medium heat until well browned. Drain and return to pot.
  2. Stir in crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, tomato sauce,and water.Season with sugar, Basil, Fennel seeds, Italian seasoning, 1 tablespoonsalt, pepper, and 2 tablespoons parsley.
  3. Simmer, covered, for about 1 1/2 hours, stirring occasionally.
  4. Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil.
  5. Cook lasagna noodles in boiling water for 8 to 10 minutes. Drain noodles, and rinse with cold water. Dry noodles on some paper towels.
  6. In a mixing bowl, Combine ricotta cheese with egg, remaining parsley, and 1/2 teaspoon salt.
  7. Preheat oven to 375 degrees F To assemble, spread 1 1/2 cups of meat sauce in the bottom of a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  8. Arrange 6 noodles lengthwise over meat sauce. Spread with one half of the ricotta cheese mixture.Top with a third of mozzarella cheese slices. Spoon 1 1/2 cups meat sauce over mozzarella, and sprinkle with 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese.
  9. Repeat layers, and top with remaining mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
  10. Cover with foil: to prevent sticking, either spray foil with cooking spray, or make sure the foil does not touch the cheese.
  11. Bake in preheated oven for 25 minutes.
  12. Remove foil, and bake an additional 15 -20 minutes.
  13. Cool for 15-20 minutes before serving. This makes for easier slicing.

Thai Coconut-Mango Sticky Rice Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1/2cupbasmati riceor jasmine riceor other sweet asianrice
  2. 1 (14 ounce)cancoconut milk(you can use the light kind if you want, it just makes it a little less rich)
  3. 1/2cupsugar
  4. 1mango, sliced

DIRECTIONS

  1. Rice: Cook rice according to package directions, but substitute coconut milk for half of the water, and add half the sugar.
  2. It should be fairly dry when you finish cooking it, without any liquid visible in the pot.
  3. Sauce: In a medium saucepan, boil the rest of the coconut milk with the second half of the sugar.
  4. Keep this at a full boil until the rice is cooked, or until it reaches a thick, syrupy consistency.
  5. Presentation: Arrange the cooked coconut rice in a bowl or plate with the mango slices in some kind of pretty formation and dribble a bit of the sauce over the whole thing.

spicy hamburger vege soup Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1lbground beef
  2. 1onion, chopped
  3. 2clovesgarlic
  4. 1jarspaghetti sauce
  5. 1canbeef broth
  6. 2cupswater
  7. 1/2teaspoonblack pepper
  8. diced tomatoes
  9. 1/2packettaco seasoning(or instead of taco sesoning use rotel tomatos)
  10. 1bagfrozen vegetables(I like green beans)

DIRECTIONS

  1. brown and drain hamburger onion and garlic.
  2. drain.
  3. pour in pot.
  4. cook for 10 min.
  5. top with sour cream and cheese.

Best Double-chocolate Muffins! Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 4ouncessemisweet chocolate
  2. 1/2cup sifted bakingcocoa powder
  3. 2cupsself-rising flour
  4. 1teaspoonbaking powder
  5. 1/4cupbrown sugar, packed
  6. 1/4cupsemi-sweet chocolate chips
  7. 1/4cupwhite chocolate chips
  8. 1cuphalf-and-halfor milk
  9. 1/4cupolive oil
  10. 1egg

DIRECTIONS

  1. Set oven to 425 degrees.
  2. Line a deep 12-cup muffin pan with paper liners.
  3. Melt the chocolate squares in the microwave, stirring occasionally.
  4. Remove the chocolate.
  5. Using a wooden spoon, stir in the cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, brown sugar, semisweet, and white chocolate chips, milk, olive oil and the egg, until very well blended.
  6. Divide the batter among the lined muffin cups.
  7. Bake for 15-17 minutes, or until well risen, and firm to the touch.
  8. Serve warm or room-temp.
