INGREDIENTS
- 2cupswater
- 1cupketchup
- 1/4cupwhite vinegar
- 1/2cupWorcestershire sauce
- 1/2cupbrown sugar
- 1teaspoonsalt
- 1teaspoonchili powder
- 1teaspooncelery seeds
- 1-2dashTabasco sauce
- 2largeonions, sliced medium
- 4lemons, sliced medium about
- 6-8pork chops
DIRECTIONS
- Bring all ingredients except pork chops to a boil in a medium saucepan.
- Simmer on low for 1/2 hour.
- Place pork chops in large baking pan.
- Place one or two slices of onion on each chop and top off with lemon slice.
- Pour sauce over top of chops.
- Cover with foil wrap.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 1 1/2 hours.

INGREDIENTS
- 1 (12 ounce)bagfresh cranberries
- 1 1/2cupsapricot preserves
- 1tablespooncinnamon
- 2tablespoonssugar
- 2/3cuporange juice
DIRECTIONS
- put apricot preserves, cinnamon, sugar and orange juice in large saucepan and bring to a boil.
- add cranberries and bring mixture back to a boil.
- simmer till sauce is thickened and cranberries have popped.
- put mixture in a food mill and process till solids are separated.
- let cool and serve!

INGREDIENTS
- 1cupall-purpose flour
- 1/3cupgranulated sugar
- 1egg
- 1teaspoonbaking powder
- 1/4teaspoonvanilla extract
- 2tablespoons softbutter
- hotbutteror margarine
- confectioners’ sugar(icing)
DIRECTIONS
- Sift flour into a bowl; add sugar, egg, baking powder, vanilla, and butter.
- Mix with wooden spoon until you have a firm dough.
- Leave in warm room to let dough rise slightly.
- Shape into circlets or half moons about the diameter of a silver dollar, and spread as evenly as possible so that they’ll cook through.
- Fry in a small amount of hot butter about 4 minutes but do not burn.
- Sift confectioners’ sugar over and serve warm.

INGREDIENTS
- 1cupmilk
- 2eggs, well beaten(divided)
- 3tablespoonsgranulated sugar
- 1tablespooncornstarch
- 1teaspoon gratedfresh lemon rind
- 24ladyfingers
- 12graham crackers, crushed into fine crumbs
- hotbutteror margarine
- confectioners’ sugar
DIRECTIONS
- In saucepan combine milk, 1 egg, granulated sugar mixed with cornstarch, and lemon rind.
- Stir gently over low heat for 5 minutes, or until mixture thickens.
- Cool at room temperature.
- Split 24 ladyfingers.
- Fill with cooled custard filling and put together.
- Dip into remaining beaten egg, then into graham cracker crumbs.
- Fry in hot butter for 4 minutes on each side, or until brown but not burned.
- Sprinkle with confectioners’ sugar; serve warm.
- Makes 24 cakes.

- 1/2cuppineapple juice
- 1/2cuplemon juice
- 1/3cuptriple sec
- 1cupbrandy
- 1/3cupgrenadine
- 1bottledry white wine
- 2bottleschampagne
DIRECTIONS
- Mix all ingredients except champagne in a punch bowl over ice.
- Add champagne just before serving.
