Easy Graham Bars Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 3cupsgraham cracker crumbs
  2. 1cupevaporated milk
  3. 1cupsugar(or more if you want sweeter)
  4. 6ouncessemi-sweet chocolate chips
  5. 1/4cupbutter, softened
  6. 1/2cup choppednuts
  7. 1teaspoonvanilla

DIRECTIONS

  1. Set oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Grease a 9-inch square baking dish.
  3. In a bowl, mix all ingredients.
  4. Spread into prepared baking dish.
  5. Bake for 35 minutes, or until bars just pull away from sides of pan.
  6. Cool before cutting.
  7. Can be frosted if desired.

Roller Coaster Breakfast Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 6eggs
  2. 1cupall-purpose flour
  3. 1/2teaspoonsalt
  4. 1cupmilk
  5. 2tablespoons meltedbutter
  6. 1/4cuppowdered sugar

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
  2. Put a buttered 9 x 13 baking pan into your freezer.
  3. In a bowl, beat eggs with a fork and slowly add flour (beat well).
  4. Add salt, milk and melted butter (mix well).
  5. Remove pan from freezer.
  6. Pour mixture into cold pan and bake at 450 degrees F for 18 minutes- turn oven down to 350 degrees F and bake for another 10 minutes.
  7. The baking mixture will start to brown fairly quickly- that is ok- Don’t be tempted to shorten either baking times!
  8. The end result will be dark golden brown and a big surprise for the kids!
  9. Let cool for a few minutes and then lightly dust with powdered sugar- cut into serving pieces and top with butter and syrup.

Pizza Crock Pot Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1 1/2lbslean ground beef
  2. 1largeonion, chopped
  3. 2tablespoons mincedfresh garlic(or to taste)
  4. 1green bell pepper, chopped
  5. 1red bell pepper, chopped
  6. salt and pepper(I use seasoning salt for this)
  7. 1/2lbfresh mushrooms, sliced(or to taste)
  8. 3/4cupparmesan cheese(or to taste)
  9. 1 (28 ounce)jar favoritespaghetti sauce(can use more)
  10. 12-16ounces uncookednoodles(use larger pasta like spaghetti or penne)
  11. 3cupscheddar cheese, shredded(or to taste)
  12. 3cupsmozzarella cheese, shredded(or to taste)
  13. 6ounces slicedpepperoni(or to taste)

DIRECTIONS

  1. Brown the ground beef with the onions, garlic and peppers, season with salt and pepper;drain fat.
  2. Add in the Parmesan cheese; mix to combine.
  3. When just done, add the sliced mushrooms, and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Cook the noodles until still a bit hard (don’t overcook the noodles, as they will get mushy in the crock pot).
  5. Add spaghetti sauce; simmer until bubbly; remove from heat.
  6. Add in noodles; toss to combine, then season with salt and pepper.
  7. In a crock pot, put a layer of the pasta mixture, then cheeses, then pepperoni; repeat layers.
  8. Cook on high for 30 minutes, then low for 1-2 hours.

Sweet Potato and Cranberry Saute Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 3/4cupapple juice
  2. 1lbsweet potatoes, peeled and sliced 1/4 inch thick
  3. 1apple, chopped(any kind)
  4. 1/8cupdried cranberries
  5. 2tablespoonsmaple syrup
  6. 2tablespoonsrum
  7. 1/4teaspoonsalt
  8. 2tablespoons choppedwalnuts

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a 10-inch skillet heat apple juice.
  2. Add sweet potato slices, spreading evenly.
  3. Cook, covered, over low heat for 12 minutes or until potatoes are nearly tender.
  4. Stir in apple, cranberries, maple syrup, rum, and salt.
  5. Cook, covered, over low heat for 3-4 minutes more or until apple is just tender.
  6. Uncover; boil gently for 3-4 minutes more or until liquid is syrupy.
  7. Place in serving bowl.
  8. Sprinkle with walnuts.

Espresso Bars Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 2teaspoonsespresso powder
  2. 2tablespoonsboiling water
  3. 1/2cupbutter
  4. 1cupgranulated sugar
  5. 2eggs
  6. 1teaspoonvanilla
  7. 1/2cupall-purpose flour
  8. 1/2cupcocoa
  9. FROSTING

  10. 4ouncescream cheese
  11. 2tablespoonsbutter
  12. 2teaspoonsinstant espresso powder
  13. 1teaspoonvanilla
  14. 1 1/2cupsicing sugar(approx)
  15. cocoa, for dusting

DIRECTIONS

  1. Dissolve espresso powder in water; set aside.
  2. In mixing bowl, cream together butter and sugar.
  3. Add eggs, espresso mixture and vanilla; beat just until blended.
  4. Sift together flour and cocoa; stir inches.
  5. Spread batter in greased 9-inch square baking pan.
  6. Bake in 350 degrees oven for 20 to 25 minutes or until tester comes out clean (don’t over bake) Let cool.
  7. FROSTING: With electric mixer, beat together cream cheese, butter, espresso powder and vanilla until smooth.
  8. Gradually beat in enough icing sugar to give spreading consistency.
  9. Spread over cooled base.
  10. Dust top lightly with cocoa through a small sieve.
  11. (May be wrapped airtight and stored up to 1 day or frozen) Cut into bars.
