INGREDIENTS
- 1cupapplesauce, sweetened or not(homemade is best)
- 7/8cupbrown sugar, lightly packed
- 1/2cupoil
- 1 3/4cupsflour
- 1teaspoonbaking soda
- 1/2teaspoonsalt
- 1teaspoonground cinnamon
- 1teaspoonground ginger
- 1/2teaspoonground cloves
- 1/2cupgolden raisins
- 1/2cup choppednuts(Black Walnuts are my favorite)
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 350 F.
- Mix the Applesauce, Brown Sugar, and Oil.
- Sift together the dry ingredients.
- Add the Raisins and Nuts to the flour mixture.
- Add the Applesauce mixture.
- Mix well.
- Pour into a 9 x 13 pan that has been buttered and floured.
- Bake for 40 min.
- Remove from oven.
- Invert over a cooling rack for 30 min.
- Carefully remove with spatula.
- Ice, if you dare.

INGREDIENTS
- 1boxspice cake mix(dry)
- 1 (21 ounce)canapple pie filling
- 3eggs
- 3tablespoonssugar
- 1teaspoonground cinnamon
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Beat dry cake mix, pie filling, and eggs in large bowl on low for 2 minutes.
- Spread half of batter in prepared pan (2 loaf pans for a breakfast cake, or a 9×13- I prefer the 2 loaf pans).
- Mix sugar and cinnamon; sprinkle half of the mixture over the batter in the pan.
- Spread remaining batter in the pan; sprinkle with remaining sugar-cinnamon mixture.
- Bake for 30-35 minues or until done.
- I use a few tablespoons of canned vanilla frosting- heat it in the microwave a few seconds and drizzle over the top of the cake.
- This is a great cake- and so easy to make!

INGREDIENTS
- 1 (1 lb)boxRitz crackers, crushed
- 4corn muffins or cornbread, crumbled
- 3largeonions, sliced thin
- oil, enough to saute’ onions
- 1canchicken soup, with noodles,stars,etc.
- 1teaspoonsugar
- 1carrot, peeled and grated
- 1apple, peeled and grated
- pepper, to taste
- 1/2teaspoonpoultry seasoning
- onion powder
- garlic powder
DIRECTIONS
- Saute’ onions in oil till transparent.
- Add carrots and apples and cook till the are softened.
- Add remaining ingredients.
- Mix together and taste for seasoning.
- If too dry you can add a bit of water.
- Stuff turkey loosely.
- Any leftover stuffing can be cooked along-side turkey in foil or in a casserole dish.
- When basting turkey, add some of the juices to any stuffing cooked outside the bird.

INGREDIENTS
- 4 (8 ounce)packages softenedcream cheese
- 1cup finely choppedimitation crabmeat
- 3 choppedgreen onions
- 1teaspoonsugar
- 3cloves crushedgarlic
- 2packageswonton wrappers
- hotoil(enough to deep fry with)
DIRECTIONS
- Mix first 5 ingredients well.
- Spoon 1-Tbl.
- of mixture onto wrapper.
- Bring all corners up (at top of mixture) forming a purse, and pinch to secure.
- Deep fry in hot oil 1-minute or until golden brown.
- Drain on paper towels.
- Makes 50-60.
- Recipe can be halved.
- Dig in and enjoy!

INGREDIENTS
- 1 (1/4 ounce)packageactive dry yeast
- 2 1/2-3cupsflour
- 1tablespoonsugar
- 2cups choppedcooked chicken
- 1 1/2cups shreddedswiss cheese
- 1 (10 ounce)boxfrozen chopped spinach, thawed and drained
- 1/4cup gratedparmesan cheese
- 1/4cup finely choppedonions
- 1 beatenegg white
- 2tablespoonssesame seeds (optional)
- 1 1/4teaspoonssalt
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 375°.
- Mix cheese, spinach, chicken, onion, and 1/4 teaspoon salt for filling.
- Set aside.
- Dissolve yeast in 1 cup warm water.
- Mix yeast mixture, sugar, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1 cup flour in a mixing bowl.
- Gradually add 1 1/2 cups flour to dough.
- Knead dough until smooth, using other 1/2 cup flour if dough is sticky.
- Roll dough into a 16 x 10-inch rectangle.
- Spread filling down the middle of dough.
- Bring dough edges together and seal.
- Place seam-side down on lightly greased cookie sheet.
- Brush bread with egg white and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Bake at 375° for 40 minutes.
- Serve warm, or cool and refrigerate.
