INGREDIENTS
- 1 (18 1/4 ounce)packagedevil’s food cake mix
- 4eggs
- 1/2cupbutter, melted
- 1cupwater
- 1cup cookedmashed sweet potatoes
- 1cupsemi-sweet chocolate chips
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Grease two 9″ round cake pans.
- At low speed, beat cake mix with eggs, melted butter and 1 cup water for 30 seconds.
- Increase speed to medium; beat 2 minutes.
- Reduce speed to low; beat in cooked mashed sweet potatoes, and chocolate chips.
- Divide batter between pans.
- Bake 25-30 minutes, or until cake test done.
- Cool on rack 15 minutes before removing from pans.
- Frost cake with desired frosting.

INGREDIENTS
- 1lblean hamburger
- 2largecarrots, sliced lengthwise and cut into chunks
- 1celery rib, sliced
- 1cantomato soup
- 1/2canwater
- 1bay leaf
- 1teaspooncelery seeds
- 2mediumpotatoes, cut into chunks
- 1onion, thinly sliced
- 1cangreen beans
- 1 (6 ounce)canmushrooms
DIRECTIONS
- Grease a casserole dish.
- Put into it crumbled burger, carrots, celery, soup, water, spices, potatoes, onion, green beans and mushrooms.
- Cover and bake at 275 degrees for 4 hours, adding a litle more water if necessary.

INGREDIENTS
- 3eggs
- 1mediumonion, chopped
- 1 1/2cupsdry breadcrumbs
- 1teaspoonsalt
- 2lbsground beef
- 2tablespoonsvegetable oil

Sauce
- 3 1/2cupstomato juice
- 1cup packedbrown sugar
- 10gingersnaps, finely crushed
- 1/4cupwhite vinegar
- 1teaspoonsalt
DIRECTIONS
- In a bowl, combine the eggs, onion, bread crumbs and salt.
- Crumble beef over mixture and mix well.
- Shape into 1-1/2″ balls.
- In a large skillet, brown meatballs in batches in oil.
- Transfer to a greased 13″x9″x2″ baking dish.
- In a saucepan, combine the sauce ingredients.
- Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring until cookie crumbs are dissolved.
- Pour over meatballs.
- Bake uncovered at 350 degrees for 40-45 minutes or until meat is no longer pink.

INGREDIENTS
- 4ouncesbrie cheese, at room temperature
- 1/2cupbutter, at room temperature
- 2/3cupflour
- 2dashescayenne pepper, to taste
- 1/8teaspoonsalt
- paprika
DIRECTIONS
- Combine butter and cheese in the food processsor and mix until creamy.
- Add remaining ingredients and blend until dough almost forms a ball in the food processor.
- Shape into a roll 2 inches round and wrap tightly in plastic wrap.
- Refrigerate overnight.
- Slice rolls into 1/4 inch pieces, place 2 inches apart on cookie sheet and bake at 400 degrees for 10 to 12 mintues or until edges are brown.
- Cool on rack.
- Sprinkle with paprika and serve immediately.

INGREDIENTS
- 6ouncesextra lean ground beef
- 1clovegarlic, minced
- 1cup choppedonions
- 4cups choppedcabbage
- 2 (14 1/2 ounce)cansreduced-sodium stewed tomatoes
- 1 3/4cupswater
- 3cups shreddedraw beets
- 1tablespoonlemon juice
- 2tablespoonsbrown sugar(packed)
DIRECTIONS
- Coat a large pot with nonstick spray.
- Crumble the beef into the pot.
- Cook over medium-high heat, breaking up the meat with a wooden spoon, for 4 to 5 minutes, or until lightly browned.
- Line a platter with several thicknesses of paper towels.
- Transfer the beef to the plate and drain well.
- Wipe out the pot with a paper towel.
- Add the garlic, onions and cabbage.
- Saute over medium heat for 15 minutes, or until the cabbage is softened; if needed, add a few tablespoons water to the pot to prevent sticking.
- Add the beef, tomatoes, water, beets, lemon juice and brown sugar.
- Bring to a boil over high heat.
- Cover, reduce the heat to medium and cook for 10 minutes, or until the beets are tender.
