INGREDIENTS
- 2cups siftedall-purpose flour
- 1teaspoonbaking soda
- 1/2cup room temperatureshortening
- 1 1/3cups packedbrown sugar
- 1/2teaspoonsalt
- 1teaspooncinnamon
- 1teaspooncloves
- 1/2teaspoonnutmeg
- 1egg
- 1cup choppedwalnuts
- 1cup finely chopped unparedapples
- 1cupsultana raisins
- 1/4cupapple juiceor milk
- 1 1/2cupsicing sugar
- 1tablespoon meltedbutter
- 1/2teaspoonvanilla
- 1/8teaspoonsalt
- 2 1/2tablespoonsmilk
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
- Sift flour with baking soda.
- Mix shortening, salt, sugar,and spices with the egg until well blended.
- Stir in half the flour mixture, add the nuts, apple, and raisins.
- Blend in the juice.
- Beat in the remaining flour mixture.
- Drop by rounded tsp.
- onto greased cookie sheet.
- Bake 11- 14 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Remove and place on a cooling rack.
- Make a glaze with the last ingredients, icing powder, salt, melted butter, and vanilla, and milk.
- When smooth, spread a thin layer over hot cookies.

INGREDIENTS
- 2ounces casa noble crystaltequila(Silver)
- 1ounceapple Schnapps
- 1dashMidori melon liqueur
- 1dashlime juice, fresh
DIRECTIONS
- Shake ingredients in mixing glass with ice, then strain into a cocktail glass.
- Slice of Green Apple for garnish.

INGREDIENTS
- 1lbbutton mushrooms
- 1cupwater
- 1/2cupolive oil
- 2tablespoonslemon juice
- 2clovesgarlic, minced
- 1tablespooncelery seeds
- 1tablespoonwhite vinegar
- 1bay leaf, crushed
- 1teaspoonsalt
- 1/4teaspoonfennel seeds
- 1/4teaspoonoregano
- 1/4teaspoonwhole black peppercorns, slightly crushed
DIRECTIONS
- Clean the mushrooms and remove just the soiled end of the stem.
- Set aside.
- Combine the remaining ingredients, except the mushrooms in a 2-quart microwave casserole or bowl.
- With the microwave on HIGH, cook for 5 to 6 minutes.
- Remove from the microwave, and cover with a lid or plastic wrap.
- Allow to rest for 5 minutes.
- Stir in the mushrooms.
- Return to the microwave, uncovered, and cook on MEDIUM for 3 minutes.
- Stir every 60 seconds.
- Chill at least 24 hours before serving.
- To serve: Remove the mushrooms with a slotted spoon and place them on a bed of parsley or endive.

INGREDIENTS
- 4ouncescream cheese, softened
- 4largeeggs
- 1/3cupheavy cream
- 1/4cupparmesan cheese
- 1/2teaspoonitalian seasoning
- 2cupspizza cheese, shredded
- 1/4teaspoongarlic powder
- 1/2cuppizza sauce(no sugar and low carb)
- 1cupmozzarella cheese, shredded
DIRECTIONS
- Beat together cream cheese and eggs till smooth.
- Add cream, parmesan cheese and spices.
- Spray a 9-inch or larger glass baking dish with oil.
- Put the cups pizza cheese in dish and pour egg mixture over it.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes or until eggs are set.
- Spread on pizza sauce, mozzarella cheese and favorite toppings.
- Bake until bubbly and browning.
- Let stand 10 minutes.
- Serve.

INGREDIENTS
- 1 cut upchicken, about 3 lbs
- salt & freshly ground black pepper
- 1/3cupplain breadcrumbs
- 2tablespoons choppedfresh flat-leaf parsley
- 1clovegarlic, minced
- 2tablespoonsDijon mustard
- 1tablespoonolive oil
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 450 F.
- Sprinkle the chicken all over with salt and pepper.
- Place the pieces skin side up in a baking pan.
- Bake for 30 minutes.
- Meanwhile, combine the bread crumbs, parsley, garlic, oil, and salt and pepper to taste in a small bowl.
- Brush the chicken with the mustard.
- Sprinkle with the crumb mixture, patting it on so that it adheres.
- Bake for 20 to 30 minutes more, or until the juices run clear when the chicken is cut near the bone.
- Serve hot or cold.
