INGREDIENTS
- 1 (26 ounce)cancrushed tomatoes
- 1 (26 ounce)cantomato puree
- 1 (26 ounce)cantomato sauce
- 1 (8 ounce)cantomato paste
- 1largewhite onion, chopped
- 1largegreen pepper, chopped
- 1cup of freshsliced mushrooms(I use crimini)
- 2garlic cloves, finely minced
- 2teaspoonsextra virgin olive oil
- 1tablespoonoregano
- 1tablespoonparsley
- 2teaspoonsgarlic powder
- 2teaspoonsonion powder
- salt, to taste
- pepper, to taste
- sugar
DIRECTIONS
- In a large stock pot stir together crushed tomato, tomato puree, and tomato sauce.
- Set on med-low heat, and cover.
- Meanwhile, in sauté pan heat olive oil over medium heat.
- When warm, add peppers, onions, and mushrooms.
- Sprinkle with a dash of salt and pepper to taste.
- Sauté until onions are clear, but not browned.
- Add Sautéed vegetables to stock pot, folding them into the sauce with the oregano and parsley.
- Cover, and bring to a slow simmer, stirring occasionally from the bottom up.
- Once simmering add the tomato paste, fresh garlic, onion powder, and garlic powder, being sure to mix in throughly.
- Turn to low heat and simmer, covered at least 1 hour.
- Taste, if too acidy add sugar 1/2 tsp at a time, checking every 10 minutes.

INGREDIENTS
- 3/4lbchickens, cut into 1 inch pieces.
- 1/4lb fully cookedsmoked sausage(I used Little Smokies)
- 2stalkscelery & leaves, sliced(1 1/4 cups)
- 1largecarrot, chopped(3/4 cup)
- 1mediumonion, chopped(1/2 cup)
- 1 (14 1/2 ounce)canstewed tomatoes, undrained
- 5cupswater
- 2tablespoonschicken bouillon granules
- 1teaspoondried thyme leaves
- 1 (10 ounce)packagefrozen cut okra, thawed
- 3cups hotcooked rice
- red pepper sauce
DIRECTIONS
- Mix chicken, sausage, celery, carrot, onion, tomatoes, water, bouillon granules, and thyme in 4- to 5- qt.
- slow cooker.
- Cover and cook on Low for 61/2 to 7 hours.
- Add thawed okra and cook for 20 minutes longer.
- Spoon soup over rice in individual soup bowls.
- Serve with red pepper sauce.

INGREDIENTS
- 1lbbackfin crab meator imitation crabmeat
- 1/2cupmilk
- 1tablespoonmilk
- 3tablespoonsbutter
- 1tablespoonflour
- 4egg yolks(well beaten)
- 1/2teaspoondry mustard
- 1/8teaspoonwhite pepper
- 1/4teaspooncelery salt
- 1/4teaspoonsalt
- 1 1/2teaspoonslemon juice
- 1/2teaspoonworcestershire sauce
- 3tablespoonsmayonnaise
- paprika
DIRECTIONS
- Heat 1/2 cup of milk to boiling point.
- Melt butter& then add flour,& then pour heated milk over flour/butter mixture.
- Beat until smooth& creamy.
- Allow to cool.
- Add the well beaten egg yolks, seasonings, lemon juice, Worcestershire& 1 Tablespoon mayonnaise.
- Blend well.
- Add crabmeat& mix thoroughly (handling gently).
- Fill either shells or small dishes.
- Mix remaining 2 Tablespoons of mayonnaise with 1 Tablespoon of milk& brush on top.
- Sprinkle lightly with paprika.
- Bake in preheated oven at 400 degree for 10 minutes& serve.

INGREDIENTS
- 1/2cupcatsup
- 1/2teaspoonsalt
- 6tablespoonssugar
- 1cup kikkoman soy sauceshoyu
- 1pieceginger, crushed
- 2tablespoonssherry wine
- 1garlic clove, crushed
DIRECTIONS
- Marinate one hour, do not marinade overnight (it will be overpowering).
- Bake at 350 degrees until done.
- Baste every 20 minutes.

- 1 1/8cups siftedflour
- 1 1/2tablespoonssugar
- 2 1/2tablespoonsbaking powder
- 1/2teaspoonsalt
- 1 beatenegg
- 1cupmilk
- 2tablespoonssalad oil
DIRECTIONS
- Sift dry ingredients together Combine other ingredients and add to dry ingredients Melt butter in pan (medium heat).
- Ladle batter into pan.
- Heat on first side until top is a little bubbly; turn and brown other side.
- Quantity depends on size of pancakes.
