Apple Syrup Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1cupapple juice
  2. 2cupssugar
  3. 1cinnamon stick

DIRECTIONS

  1. Pour apple juice in a saucepan.
  2. Add sugar.
  3. Bring to a boil, stirring frequently.
  4. Reduce heat, simmer until sugar dissolves.
  5. Let cool for 5 minutes.
  6. Pour into glass bottle.
  7. Add Cinnamon Stick and close the bottle.
  8. Refrigerate until ready to use.
  9. Serve warm on anything you use syrup on.

Roast Goose with Citrus and Herbs Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1 (11 1/2 lb)geese, thawed if frozen
  2. 1tablespoon choppedfresh thyme
  3. 1tablespoon choppedfresh rosemary
  4. 2teaspoonssalt
  5. 1teaspoonpepper
  6. 1orange, cut into 6 wedges
  7. 1lime, cut into 6 wedges

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 500.
  2. Remove giblets and neck from goose.
  3. Remove excess fat from main cavity of goose.
  4. Rinse goose inside and out with cold water.
  5. Pat dry with paper towels.
  6. Combine thyme, rosemary, salt and pepper in small bowl.
  7. Place goose, breast side down on a rack in a roasting pan.
  8. Sprinkle goose with half of herb mixture.
  9. Place orange and lime wedges in cavity of goose.
  10. Turn goose so that breast side is up.
  11. Sprinkle remaining herbs over goose.
  12. Roast goose 1 hour.
  13. Turn off oven (do not open oven door) and let goose stand in oven 45 minutes (thermometer inserted into thickest part of thigh will register 180.) Remove goose from oven; cover and let rest 10 minutes.
  14. Slice and serve.

French Onion Soup Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 6-7onions, blended
  2. 2tablespoonsflour
  3. 2-3canschicken broth
  4. 1bay leaf
  5. toast
  6. mozzarella cheese

DIRECTIONS

  1. Fry onions for several minutes then put them in blender for 20-30 seconds.
  2. Put onions in pot over medium-low heat, add flour, broth and bay leaf and simmer.
  3. Occasionally stirring.
  4. Toast several pieces of bread and add to soup bowls (baking bowls) Add onion mixture and Mozzarella on top and pop in 350 oven till chesse bubbles.

Asparagus Rollups Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 24 freshasparagus spears
  2. 1 (8 ounce)packagecream cheese, softened
  3. 1 (4 ounce)package crumbledblue cheese
  4. 2tablespoonsmayonnaise
  5. 1tablespoon choppedfresh chives
  6. 12slicesbread, crusts trimmed off
  7. 12slices thinly sliceddeli ham
  8. 1/4cupbutter or margarine, melted
  9. paprika
  10. Garnishes

  11. green onions, curl
  12. red bell peppers

DIRECTIONS

  1. Snap off tough ends of asparagus, and remove scales from stalks with a vegetable peeler, if desired.
  2. Arrange asparagus in a steamer basket over boiling water.
  3. Cover and steam 4 to 6 minutes or until crisp-tender.
  4. Remove from steamer, and cool on paper towels.
  5. Stir together cream cheese and next 3 ingredients.
  6. Roll each bread slice with a rolling pin to flatten.
  7. Spread 1 side of each slice with 2 tablespoons cream cheese mixture; top each with 1 ham slice.
  8. Place 2 asparagus spears, tips pointed toward opposite ends, on one end of each bread slice; roll up, and place, seam side down, on a greased baking sheet.
  9. Brush with butter; sprinkle with paprika.
  10. Bake at 400° for 12-15 minutes or until golden.
  11. Serve immediately.
  12. Garnish, if desired.
  13. Note: Freeze unbaked rollups up to 1 month in an airtight container.
  14. Thaw in refrigerator, and bake as directed.
  15. Yield: 12 appetizer servings.

Doritos Taco salad Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. lettuce
  2. 1cankidney beans, drained (optional)
  3. gratedcheddar cheese(as much as you want)
  4. 1lbground beef
  5. 1packagetaco seasoning
  6. 1bagplain Doritos(smashed up)
  7. 1bottleItalian dressing
  8. dicedfresh tomatoes

DIRECTIONS

  1. Cook ground beef, add taco seasoning while cooking without any water and cool.
  2. Wash and break up lettuce into large bowl.
  3. Add all the ingredients that are listed.
  4. Only mix salad last minute to avoid soggy lettuce.
  5. Serve.
