Chocolate Wafers Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 2/3cupbutter, softened(No Substitutions)
  2. 1/2cupsugar
  3. 1/2cup packedbrown sugar
  4. 1/4milk
  5. 1egg
  6. 2cupsall-purpose flour
  7. 3/4cupbaking cocoa
  8. 1teaspoonbaking powder
  9. 1/2teaspoonbaking soda
  10. 1/4teaspoonsalt

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a bowl, cream butter and sugars, add milk and egg.
  2. Mix well.
  3. Combine dry ingredients in separate bowl, and gradually add to the creamed mixture.
  4. Mix well.
  5. Cover and let chill until firm, or about two hours.
  6. Rolled chilled dough on a floured surface until about 1/8 inch thick.
  7. Cut with a 1 1/2 cookie cutter.
  8. Place 1 inch apart on a greased baking sheet.
  9. Bake at 375° for 5- 6 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
  10. Let cool on wire racks.

Mom Binney’s Brownies Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1 1/2cupsflour
  2. 1teaspoonsalt
  3. 2cupssugar
  4. 8tablespoonscocoa
  5. 2teaspoonsvanilla
  6. 1/4teaspoonbaking powder
  7. 1cupvegetable oil
  8. 4eggs
  9. 1/4cupwater
  10. 1/2cup choppedwalnuts
  11. Icing

  12. 1cupsugar
  13. 1/4cupmargarine
  14. 1/4cupcocoa
  15. 1/4cupmilk

DIRECTIONS

  1. Mix all ingredients, adding nuts last.
  2. Stir well.
  3. Add to 11×15 oiled pan.
  4. Bake at 350 F for 30 minutes Ice with chocolate frosting when cool.
  5. Icing: Combine all ingredients in a saucepan.
  6. Bring to a boil, stir constantly till it boils, then do not stir anylonger.
  7. Time it to boil 1-1/2-2 minutes without stirring.
  8. Remove quickly and place in the sink in cold water just to cover bottom to cool down.
  9. Beat well to thicken and spread quickly on the brownies.

Beef Brisket Rub by Mean Chef Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 2 1/2tablespoonsdark brown sugar
  2. 1 1/2teaspoonsdried sweet basil leaves
  3. 1/8teaspoonground cumin
  4. 3/4teaspoonground coriander
  5. 3/4teaspoonground savory
  6. 3/4teaspoondried thyme
  7. 3/4teaspoonblack pepper
  8. 3/4teaspoonwhite pepper
  9. 2tablespoonspaprika
  10. 2teaspoonsdry mustard
  11. 2teaspoonsonion powder
  12. 2teaspoonsgarlic powder
  13. 2teaspoonssalt

DIRECTIONS

  1. Mix ingredients together and place in a shaker if you have one.
  2. Sprinkle liberally over a 5-6 pound brisket and wrap tightly in plastic.
  3. Refrigerate at least overnight, until cooking time.

INGREDIENTS

  1. Bars

  2. 2cupsall-purpose flour
  3. 2cupssugar
  4. 2teaspoonsbaking powder
  5. 1teaspoonbaking soda
  6. 1teaspooncinnamon
  7. 1teaspoonnutmeg
  8. 1/2teaspoonsalt
  9. 1/2teaspooncloves
  10. 1cupoil
  11. 1 (16 ounce)canpumpkin or2 cupspumpkin
  12. 4eggs
  13. 1/3cupnuts
  14. 1/2cupraisins
  15. Frosting

  16. 2cupspowdered sugar
  17. 1/3cupbutter, softened
  18. 1 (3 ounce)packagecream cheese
  19. 1tablespoonmilk
  20. 1teaspoonvanilla

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
  2. Grease a 15×10x1 inch pan.
  3. Combine all bar ingredients except nuts and raisins.
  4. Beat at low speed until moistened.
  5. Beat 2 minutes at medium speed.
  6. Stir in nuts and raisins.
  7. Pour into greased pan.
  8. Bake at 350 F for 25-30 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
  9. Cool completely.
  10. Frosting: Combine all ingredients, beat until smooth.
  11. Frost cake when cooled.
  12. Cut into bars.
  13. Store in fridge.

Copycat Red Robin Seasoning Recipe

  2. 1tablespoon instanttomato soup mix(Knorr tomato with basil works nicely)
  3. 2teaspoonschili powder
  4. 1/4teaspooncumin
  5. 1/4teaspoonground black pepper

DIRECTIONS

  1. Combine the ingredients in a small bowl and stir well.
  2. Store in a covered container.
