Best Fajitas Ever! Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. Marinade

  2. 2tablespoonshot sauce
  3. 2tablespoonsground cumin
  4. 1teaspoonallspice
  5. 2tablespoonschili powder
  6. fresh oregano
  7. thyme, combined(or a couple shakes of dried)
  8. 1/2bottlebeer
  9. 1tablespoonolive oil
  10. The stuffing

  11. 1/2lbsteak or4 boneless chicken breasts
  12. olive oil
  13. 1largeonion, cut in 1/2 inch strips
  14. 1green bell pepper, seeded & cut in 1/2 inch strips
  15. 2poblano chiles, cut into strips (optional)
  16. salt & pepper
  17. Pico De Gallo (fresh salsa)

  18. finely choppedtomatoes
  19. serrano peppers or jalapeno chiles, chopped fine
  20. mincedonions
  21. cilantro
  22. mint (optional)
  23. salt
  24. andtortillas

DIRECTIONS

  1. Mix marinade and set aside.
  2. Coat meat or poultry and let sit.
  3. Mix together pico de gallo in small bowl and set aside.
  4. In saucepan, drizzle with olive oil over med-high heat.
  5. Add onions, peppers and chiles- toss occasionally and turn off heat once tender.
  6. In second skillet over high heat, drop meat or poultry in and sear for 2 mins each side.
  7. Remove from heat, slice thin and return to pan to brown and cook through.
  8. Warm tortillas according to package, fill with meat, poultry, peppers and pico de gallo- MMMM!

Finger-licking Good Beef Steak Bake Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 2lbsround steaksor sirloin
  2. 3-4tablespoonsoil
  3. 4sliceslemons
  4. 3medium slicedonions
  5. 2-3cloves fresh mincedgarlic
  6. 1/2cupflour
  7. 1 (10 ounce)canbeef broth, undiluted
  8. 1canbeer or1 bottlebeer
  9. 3tablespoonsbrown sugar
  10. 1tablespoondried parsley or1/4 cup choppedfresh parsley(or to taste)
  11. 2teaspoonsdried thyme
  12. salt and pepper
  13. 8ounces cookednoodles or2 cupscooked rice

DIRECTIONS

  1. Set oven to 325 degrees.
  2. Cut steak into serving-size pieces.
  3. Add the lemon slices to the oil: brown beef on both sides in hot oil with the lemon.
  4. Remove the beef to a pan large enough in which to bake it.
  5. Layer onions and garlic over the browned beef in a cassreole dish.
  6. Sprinkle 1/2 cup flour over the top of onions and garlic.
  7. In a bowl, combine the beef bouillon, beer, sugar, parsley, thyme, salt and pepper.
  8. Pour over the meat; bake uncovered in a 325 degree oven for 2-1/2- 3 hours.
  9. Serve over cooked noodles or cooked rice.

Phily Cheese Steak Sandwiches Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. Onions

  2. 1tablespoonolive oil
  3. 2largeyellow onions
  4. 1dashsalt and pepper
  5. 2dashessteak seasoning
  6. Meat

  7. 2teaspoonsolive oil
  8. 1 1/4lbslean sirloin steaks, sliced very thin
  9. 1teaspoongarlic salt
  10. black pepper
  11. 8slicesprovolone cheese
  12. 4hoagie rolls

DIRECTIONS

  1. In sauce pan over med-high heat, add olive oil, oinions and seasonings.
  2. Toss occasionally and cook until soft.
  3. On griddle pan or large sauce pan, wipe with olive oil and paper towel and heat to med-high to high heat.
  4. Sear and cook meat until brown- about 2 mins each side- careful not to overcook.
  5. Remove from heat and sprinkle with seasonings.
  6. Toss meat and onions together.
  7. Lay cheese out on rolls and top with meat& onion mixture to melt cheese.

Cheesy Broccoli Chowder Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 2tablespoonsmargarine
  2. 1/2cup choppedonions
  3. 1/2cup choppedcelery
  4. 1/2cup choppedcarrots
  5. 2tablespoonsflour
  6. 1/2teaspoondry mustard
  7. 2cupschicken brothor water
  8. 4cups coarsley choppedbroccoli
  9. 2cupsmilk
  10. 2cups shreddedcheddar cheese

DIRECTIONS

  1. Melt margarine in a saucepan, add onion, celery & carrot,cook until softened, about 3 min.
  2. Add flour & mustard, cook stirring for a minute or two.
  3. ‘Stir in broth & broccoli, bring to a boil.
  4. Simmer covered, stirring occasionally until broccoli & veggies are tender, about 10 min.
  5. Place broccoli mixture in a blender & process until smooth.
  6. Return to pan & stir in milk.
  7. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
  8. Add cheese, stir just until melted.

Zucchini and Sweet Potato Loaf Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1 1/2cups grated uncooked peeledsweet potatoes
  2. 1 1/2cups grated garden unpeeledzucchini
  3. 1cup choppedpecans
  4. 2cups all purposeunbleached flour
  5. 2teaspoons ground freshcinnamon
  6. 1teaspoonbaking soda
  7. 1/2teaspoonsalt
  8. 1/2teaspoonbaking powder
  9. 2cupsgranulated sugar
  10. 3/4cupcanola oil
  11. 3largeeggs
  12. 2teaspoonsvanilla

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Grease and flour a 9 x 5 x 3 inch loaf pan.
  3. Sift flour, cinnamon, soda, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Beat sugar, oil, eggs, and vanilla extract in a large bowl.
  5. Mix in the grated vegetables.
  6. Combine the dry ingredients and nuts.
  7. Pour into prepared pan.
  8. Bake 70 minutes, or until tester comes away clean.
  9. Cool in the pan 20 minutes.
  10. Then invert onto cooling rack.
  11. When completely cooled wrap in foil, store at room temp.
  12. Nice moist loaf.
  13. Can be prepared the day before serving.
