Ginger Snap Biscotti Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1cupsugar
  2. 1/2cupbutter or margarine, softened
  3. 2eggs
  4. 1teaspoonvanilla extract
  5. 1tablespoonground ginger
  6. 2teaspoonsground cinnamon
  7. 1teaspoonground cloves
  8. 2cupsflour
  9. 1cupquick oats
  10. 1/2teaspoonbaking powder
  11. 3/4cup choppedalmonds

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In a large bowl, beat sugar and butter until light and fluffy.
  3. Blend in eggs and vanilla.
  4. In separate bowl, combine spices and remaining ingredients.
  5. Gradually add to sugar mixture; blend until dough comes together.
  6. Do not overmix.
  7. Divide dough in half; roll each half into a 12-inch log about 1-inch in diameter.
  8. Place dough on ungreased cookie sheet.
  9. Bake 25 minutes or until lightly browned.
  10. Allow to cool on a baking rack 20 minutes.
  11. Cut log crosswise with a sharp serrated knife into 1/2-inch slices on cookie sheet.
  12. Bake at 350 degrees for 14 to 16 minutes or until lightly browned and crisp.
  13. Cool, then store in a tightly covered container.

Breakfast Pizza Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1can pillsburyprepared pizza crust
  2. breakfast sausage(links or bulk)
  3. 8ounces shreddedcheese(your choice)
  4. 2eggs
  5. oil

DIRECTIONS

  1. oil a small cookie sheet.
  2. pop open the can of dough.
  3. unroll& spread the dough on the cookie sheet.
  4. scramble and cook the eggs.
  5. cook the breakfast sausage.
  6. place eggs& sausage on top of dough.
  7. sprinkle cheese on top.
  8. bake@ 350 until cheese is melted and the crust is golden.

Ginger Crinkles Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1 1/4cupssugar
  2. 1cupbutter, softened
  3. 1egg
  4. 3tablespoonsdark corn syrup
  5. 1teaspoonvanilla
  6. 3cupsall-purpose flour
  7. 1 1/2teaspoonsbaking soda
  8. 2teaspoonsground cinnamon
  9. 1teaspoonground ginger
  10. 1/4teaspoonsalt
  11. 1/4teaspoonground cloves
  12. sugar

DIRECTIONS

  1. Heat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Combine sugar and butter in large mixer bowl.
  3. Beat at medium speed until well mixed (1 to 2 minutes).
  4. Add egg, corn syrup and vanilla.
  5. Continue beating, scraping bowl often, until creamy (1 to 2 minutes).
  6. Reduce speed to low; add flour, baking soda, cinnamon, ginger, salt and cloves.
  7. Continue beating until well mixed (1 to 2 minutes).
  8. Roll dough into 1-inch balls.
  9. Roll balls in sugar.
  10. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
  11. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until edges are lightly golden.
  12. Cool 1 minute before removing from cookie sheets.

Brownie Macaroon Pudding Cake Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1cupall-purpose flour
  2. 3/4cupsugar
  3. 1/4cupunsweetened cocoa
  4. 1tablespoonbaking powder
  5. 1/2teaspoonsalt
  6. 1/2cupmilk
  7. 3tablespoonsbutter, melted
  8. 1teaspoonvanilla
  9. 1cupflaked coconut
  10. 1cuphot water
  11. 1/2cupchocolate syrup

DIRECTIONS

  1. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
  2. In medium bowl combine flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder and salt.
  3. Add milk, butter and vanilla; mix well until smooth.
  4. Stir in coconut.
  5. Spread batter into greased 8-inch square baking dish.
  6. In 2-cup glass measure combine hot water, and chocolate syrup.
  7. Pour evenly over batter.
  8. Bake for 32 to 38 minutes or until center is set and edges pull away from sides of pan.
  9. Serve warm.

Not-So-Devilish Deviled Eggs Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 8 hard-cookedegg whites, peeled and halved lengthwise
  2. 4 hard-cookedegg yolks
  3. 1/2cupfat-free mayonnaiseor low-fat mayonnaise
  4. 1/4cup creamylow fat cottage cheese, drained(1 percent)
  5. 1tablespooncurry powder
  6. 1tablespoonDijon mustard
  7. 1dashhot pepper sauce
  8. paprika, for sprinkling
  9. parsley sprigs(to garnish)

DIRECTIONS

  1. Place 4 of the egg yolks in a food processor or blender (discard the other 4) with the mayonnaise, cottage cheese, curry, mustard and pepper sauce.
  2. Process until smooth.
  3. Spoon the filling into a pastry bag with star tip.
  4. Pipe the filling into the egg whites, then sprinkle with the paprika.
  5. Garnish with the parsley.
  6. Refrigerate, covered, until ready to serve.
