INGREDIENTS
- 3cupsboiling water
- 4 regular sizetea bags
- 3cupsapple cider
- 3tablespoonshoney
- orange slices
DIRECTIONS
- Place tea bags in a saucepan; pour boiling water over tea bags.
- Cover and steep 8 minutes; remove tea bags.
- Add in cider and honey; stir to combine.
- Serve either warm or over ice.
- Garnish with orange slices.

INGREDIENTS
- 1lbsharp cheddar cheese, grated
- 2 1/2cupsplain flour
- 3/4cupbutteror margarine
- 1/2teaspoonsalt
- 1/4teaspoonground red pepper
DIRECTIONS
- Directions: Cream butter and cheese.
- Add flour and salt and pepper.
- Dough will be stiff.
- Shape into strips with cookie press and bake at 350 until slightly browned, approximately 15 minutes.

INGREDIENTS
- 1package frozen breadrolls(thawed)
- 1 (6 ounce)packagebutterscotch pudding
- 2cups choppedpecans
- 9tablespoons meltedbutter
- 1cupbrown sugar
- 2tablespoonsmilk
DIRECTIONS
- Sprinkle pecans in the bottom of a 9×13 baking dish.
- Place thawed (do not let rise) bread rolls on top of pecans (enough to fill the dish)
- Melt 1 stick+ 1 tbsp. butter with 1 cup brown sugar and 2 tbsp. milk
- Remove from heat and stir in pudding mix pour over the rolls, cover with foil and let rise until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
- Bake at 350 for 25 minutes or until brown. Flip onto a tray immediately after removing from the oven.

INGREDIENTS
- 2eggs
- 3/4cupmilk

Add to
- 6tablespoonsbutter, melted
- 3cupsflour
- 2teaspoonssalt
- 1teaspoonbaking powder
DIRECTIONS
- Beat eggs well.
- Put into a 1 cup measuring cup and fill with milk. (This may end up being more or less than the 3/4 cup listed in the ingredients.)
- Add to remaining ingredients and mix to combine.
- Roll out very thin and cut into strips.
- Cut again so that pieces are approximately 1 inch long by 3 inches wide.
- Cut a slit in the middle and pull one end through to knot it.
- Fry four to six at a time, in deep hot fat until golden brown.
- Serve with watermelon!
- A Mennonite summer tradition!

INGREDIENTS
- 2 3/4cupsflour
- 2/3cupmilk
- 3tablespoonslight brown sugar
- 1/2teaspoonsalt
- 1/2teaspoonground nutmeg
- 1/2teaspoonground cinnamon
- 1/4teaspoonground ginger
- 1teaspoonvanilla
- 1egg
- 4tablespoonsunsalted butter
- 1 1/2teaspoonsyeast
- 1/2cupraisins
- 1/2cup choppeddates
- 1/2cup choppedwalnuts
DIRECTIONS
- Heat milk in microwave for 2 minutes.
- Add butter to milk and stir until melted.
- Add egg to milk and stir until mixed.
- Put flour, brown sugar,salt,nutmeg,cinnamon,ginge° and egg in bread pan Add milk mixture and yeast to bread pan per manufacturer’s directions.
- Start bread machine on dough cycle.
- Remove dough and roll out into a 6″x24″ sheet.
- Spread raisins,dates and nuts onto dough leaving about an inch on the edges.
- Add more if needed.
- Peel long edge up and roll up dough, making long roll.
- Pinch edges to seal.
- Lay with edge down into a circle.
- Let rise covered with cloth in a slightly warmed oven for 30 minutes.
- Optional: I use an egg wash to give the bread a more golden shiny look.
- Aslo I might put slight cuts in the dough to give it texture.
- Bake in 350′degree oven for 22 minutes.
