Yummy Pork Steak Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 3lbspork steaks
  2. 1 (1 ounce)envelope dryonion soup mix
  3. 1 (10 1/2 ounce)cancondensed cream of mushroom soup

DIRECTIONS

  1. Put pork steaks in bottom of crockpot or slow cooker.
  2. Sprinkle onion soup mix over steaks.
  3. Pour soup over the top.
  4. Cover.
  5. Cook on high setting about 4 hours.

Great Shape Cookies Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1/2cupbutter
  2. 1cupsugar
  3. 2largeeggs
  4. 1tablespoonmilk
  5. 2 1/2cupsflour, divided
  6. 2teaspoonsbaking powder
  7. 1/4teaspoonsalt
  8. 1/2teaspoonvanilla
  9. 1/2teaspoonalmond extract

DIRECTIONS

  1. Cream butter and sugar.
  2. Add eggs, milk and flavorings.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine 2 1/4 cups flour, baking powder and salt.
  4. Add flour mixture to butter mixture.
  5. Turn dough out on to well floured surface and knead an additional 1/4 cup flour into the dough.
  6. Place dough in plastic bag and chill several hours or overnight.
  7. Preheat oven to 300 degrees F.
  8. Grease cookie sheets (only this once) On a well floured surface, roll dough to 1/4″ thickness.
  9. Flour cutters well and cut dough into shapes.
  10. Bake until golden brown (10 minutes?).

Cottage Cheese Filling Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1lbcottage cheese
  2. 1/2cupsugar
  3. 1egg yolk
  4. 1/2teaspooncinnamon
  5. 3/4cupraisins
  6. 1cupwineor otherliquor

DIRECTIONS

  1. Soak raisins in the wine overnight.
  2. Wrap the cottage cheese in two layers of cheese cloth and squeeze the liquid fron the cheese.
  3. Allow the cheese to continue to drain overnight in the refrigerator.
  4. Drain the raisins and discard the liquid.
  5. In a medium bowl, combine all ingredients well.

Buttery Cream Cheese Layer Coffeecake Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 2cupsflour
  2. 1 1/2cupssugar
  3. 1tablespoonbaking powder
  4. 1teaspoonsalt
  5. 3tablespoonsCrisco shortening
  6. 5eggs
  7. 1/2cupbutter, melted(no substitutions)
  8. 1 (8 ounce)packagecream cheese, softened
  9. 1lbicing sugar(confectioners)
  10. 1 1/2tablespoonsvanilla

DIRECTIONS

  1. Set oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Grease a 13′ x 9″ baking pan.
  3. in a bowl, combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt; cut in the shortening with a pastry knife or food processor, until the mixture resembles coarse meal.
  4. Mix in 3 of the eggs, and the melted butter; combine well.
  5. Spread batter over bottom of prepared baking pan.
  6. In a bowl, combine cream cheese, the 2 remaining eggs, the cofectioners sugar (reserve 2 Tbsp of confectioners sugar for sprinkling on top of cake), and the vanilla; pour the mixture over batter in the baking pan.
  7. Bake for 15 minutes.
  8. Remove from oven; sprinkle with the reserved 2 TBSP sugar over the top.
  9. Return the cake to oven; bake for 30-35 minutes longer.
  10. When done, the cake will still be moist in the center.
  11. Cool slightly before serving.

Chocolate Royal Icing Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1lbpowdered sugar
  2. 1/3cupcocoa
  3. 7tablespoonswarm water
  4. 3tablespoonspowdered egg whites(meringue powder)

DIRECTIONS

  1. Mix powdered sugar, cocoa and egg whites.
  2. Add water slowly until the icing is the consistency of thick frosting for outlining and thin with more water to fill.
