INGREDIENTS
- 1lbbacon
- 1medium unpeeledcooking apple, peeled and chopped(1 cup, Rome beauty, golden delicious or greening)
- 2tablespoonssugar
- 1 1/2cupsBisquick
- 1 1/2cupsmilk
- 4eggs
- 2cups shreddedcheddar cheese
DIRECTIONS
- Heat oven to 375°F.
- Grease rectangular baking dish 11×7x11/2-inches.
- Cook the bacon in skillet over medium heat, turning occasionally, until crisp.
- Drain on paper towels; cool, then crumble bacon into small pieces.
- Mix apple and sugar and spread into baking dish stir the Bisquick milk and eggs until blended pour over the apples and sprinkle with bacon and cheese.
- Bake uncovered until knife inserted in center comes out clean.

INGREDIENTS
- 3/4cup packedlight brown sugar, plus
- 2tablespoons packedlight brown sugar
- 1largeegg
- 2teaspoonsvanilla extract
- 8tablespoonsunsalted butter, melted
- 1 1/2cupsall-purpose flour
- 1/2teaspoonbaking soda
- 1/8teaspoonsalt
- 1cup choppedpecans, toasted
- 4ounceswhite chocolate, chopped(or 3/4 cup white chocolate chips)
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 325°F.
- Grease an 8″ square baking pan.
- Beat sugar and egg until fluffy, about 3 minutes with mixer.
- Add vanilla and butter, and beat to mix well.
- In a small bowl, stir flour, baking soda, and salt.
- Add flour mixture to the butter mixture, beat just until incorporated.
- Don’t overmix.
- Stir in the pecans and white chocolate with a spoon.
- Note: I buy a good quality white chocolate bar, and beat it in the package with a heavy spoon or meat tenderizer to break it up into chunks before opening the package, and pouring into the mixture.
- Spoon the batter into the pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 25- 30 minutes, until the top is dry and golden, and a knife inserted in the center comes out with just a few crumbs, not perfectly dry yet.
- Remove from the oven and cool.
- Cut into 2″ squares.

INGREDIENTS
- 1/2jarsun-dried tomatoes packed in oil, well drained on paper towels
- 3clovesgarlic
- 1tablespoontomato sauce(tomato puree)
- 2tablespoonsred wine
- 1/2teaspoondried basil leaves
- 1/2teaspoondried oregano leaves
- 1/2teaspoonsugar
- 6ouncesbrie cheese
DIRECTIONS
- In a mini food processor with metal blade, pulse together the tomatoes, garlic, tomato sauce, red wine and sugar until tomatoes are chopped fine and everything is well blended.
- Stir in basil and oregano.
- Pile generously on top if the cheese and heat through in a 350 degree F oven until cheese is soft.
- Serve with slices of French baguette bread.

INGREDIENTS
- 1/3cupsun-dried tomatoes packed in oil, drained
- 1cuplight cream cheese
- 1/2cuplight sour cream
- 1/2cuplight mayonnaise
- 1teaspoon sweet garlicChinese chili sauce
- 1pinchsalt
- 1pinchpepper
- 2green onions, thinly sliced
DIRECTIONS
- In a food processor and using the metal blade, blend together tomatoes, cream cheese, sour cream, mayonnaise, chili sauce, salt and pepper, until smooth.
- Add green onions and pulse about 5 times.
- Serve at room temperature with crackers or bagel chips.

INGREDIENTS
- 2lbschicken wings, tips removed
- 1/4cuplow sodium soy sauce
- 1/4cupbrown sugar
- 1/4cuphoney
- 1/4cuprice vinegar
- 1tablespoon mincedgingerroot
- 3clovesgarlic, minced
- toasted sesame seeds(to garnish)
DIRECTIONS
- Pre-heat oven to 450 degrees F.
- Mix all marinade ingredients and heat slightly to melt honey.
- Pour over chicken wings.
- Bake for 1 1/2 hours on a sprayed foil lined baking sheet (turn frequently) until marinade has thickened and wings are glossy.
- Remove to heated platter and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
