Easy Caramel Rolls Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 2loavesfrozen bread dough(thawed)
  2. 1/2cupoleo
  3. 1cupbrown sugar
  4. 1cupvanilla ice cream

DIRECTIONS

  1. Melt oleo, brown sugar and ice cream.
  2. Put in 9×13-inch pan.
  3. Cut each loaf down the middle into 18-20 pieces.
  4. Roll in mixture of sugar and cinnamon and place on caramel mixture.
  5. Bake at 350°F for 35 minutes.

Orange Walnut Biscotti Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 3 2/3cupsflour
  2. 1 1/3cupssugar
  3. 1cupwalnuts, coarsely chopped
  4. 1orange, zest of
  5. 1/2lemon, zest of
  6. 1/4teaspoonbaking soda
  7. 1teaspoonbaking powder
  8. 2eggs
  9. 1egg yolk
  10. 2-3teaspoonsorange extract
  11. 4ouncesbutter, melted

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F In a large bowl, combine all of the dry ingredients (first 7 ingredients on list above).
  2. In a small bowl slightly beat eggs& egg yolk together, and add to the dry ingredients along with the extract& the melted butter.
  3. Mix by hand with a wooden spoon or with hands.
  4. If dough is too stiff, add some juice from the zested orange.
  5. Turn dough out onto work surface; knead lightly and form into two logs.
  6. Place logs on lightly greased cookie sheet& flatten slightly.
  7. Brush logs with beaten egg white.
  8. Bake 30 minutes; let cool completely, then slice each log diagonally into 1″ slices with serrated knife, using a sawing motion.
  9. Stand the slices on the cookie sheet and return to the oven.
  10. Bake an additional 7-10 minutes or until crisp.

Crab and Cheddar Cheese Soup Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1 1/2cups pared dicedpotatoes
  2. 1cup thinly slicedcelery
  3. 2cupswater
  4. 1/2cupmargarineor butter
  5. 1mediumonion, chopped
  6. 1/4cupflour
  7. 1cup warmmilk
  8. 1 (6 ounce)cancrabmeat, dont drain
  9. 1/2lb shreddedcheddar cheese
  10. 1/2teaspoondill weed
  11. 1/2lbimitation crabmeat
  12. salt and pepper

DIRECTIONS

  1. In 2 quart saucepan combine potatoes, celery and water.
  2. Bring to boil Lower heat and simmer 15 mins until cooked but not mushy In another pan, melt butter Add onion.
  3. Simmer 5 mins until clear not browned Add flour.
  4. Stir til smooth Stir in milk and crab juice from can Add cooked veggies with cooking liquid.
  5. Boil 1 minute.
  6. Add cheese dill, and crabmeats Heat to serving temperature Add salt and pepper.

Apricot Vienna Tarts Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 1/2cupdried apricots, chopped
  2. 1 (12 ounce)jarapricot preserves
  3. 6ouncescream cheese
  4. 1cupbutteror margarine
  5. 2cupsflour
  6. beateneggs
  7. cinnamon sugar
  8. finely choppedwalnuts

DIRECTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F; line cookie sheets with parchment paper& set aside.
  2. In a small saucepan, cook the chopped apricots& preserves until melted& apricots are soft.
  3. Chill in refrigerator.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, butter& flour into a stiff dough.
  5. Divide into 2 equal disks, wrap in plastic& chill.
  6. When dough is thoroughly chilled, cut each disk into 4 sections.
  7. Roll each section into a thin round, and cut into 4 or 6 wedges.
  8. Place approximately 1 tsp of preserve mixture on outer edge (wide, rounded side) of rolled dough.
  9. Moisten point of dough with a little water.
  10. Roll dough over the preserves, tucking in the sides& continue to roll to the point.
  11. Continue this with each section of dough.
  12. Place each cookie on parchment-lined cookie sheet; brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with cinnamon sugar or chopped nuts.
  13. Bake 15-20 minutes or until light golden brown.
  14. Cool on wire rack.

Triple Cheese Bake Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  1. 2-3cups dicedham
  2. 1 (10 ounce)boxfrozen broccoli cuts
  3. 1cup shreddedcheddar cheese
  4. 1cup shreddedmozzarella cheese
  5. 1cup shreddedAmerican cheese
  6. 1cupmilk
  7. 3eggs
  8. 1tablespoonflour
  9. 1teaspoonsalt

DIRECTIONS

  1. Cook broccoli according to directions on box; drain well.
  2. Layer a greased 9×13-inch pan with ham, broccoli and cheese.
  3. Mix the remaining ingredients and pour over.
  4. Bake at 350° for 30-40 minutes until bubbly and golden brown.
