INGREDIENTS
- 2 1/2cupsreduced-fat milk
- 2teaspoonsbutter
- 1smallonion, chopped
- 1 (14 1/2 ounce)canfat-free chicken broth
- 1largepotato, peeled and cut into 1/2 inch cubes
- 1 1/2cupscarrots, thinly sliced
- 2cups smallbroccoli florets or green beans, fresh cut
- 1 1/2teaspoonssalt
- 1/4teaspoonpepper
- 1/4cupall-purpose flour
DIRECTIONS
- Melt butter in a large saucepan over medium heat.
- Add onion.
- Cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add broth, potato and carrots.
- Bring to a boil over high heat.
- Reduce heat and simmer uncovered 5 minutes.
- Add broccoli, salt and pepper.
- Cook 5 minutes.
- Place flour in a medium bowl.
- Gradually stir in milk, mixing well.
- Add milk mixture to soup.
- Bring to a simmer.
- Simmer uncovered 5 minutes or until vegetables are tender and soup has thickened.
- For chicken vegetable soup, stir in 2 cup diced cooked chicken breast.

INGREDIENTS
- 3ouncescream cheese
- 3tablespoonsmayonnaise(not sald dressing)
- 3tablespoonssugar
- 1 (1 lb)canwhole berry cranberry sauce
- 1 (9 ounce)cancrushed pineapple
- 1/2cup choppedwalnutsor pecans
- 1cupwhipping cream
DIRECTIONS
- Soften cream cheese.
- Blend in mayonaise and sugar.
- Add fruit and nuts.
- Fold in whipped cream.
- Pour into an 8by8 inch serving dish.
- Freeze firm at least six hours or overnight.
- Let stand a few minutes at room temperature before serving.
- This may be doubled to keep an extra one in the freezer.
- You may also use a whole pkg.
- of 8 oz.
- cream cheese, either way is ok.

INGREDIENTS
- 1 2/3cupsbaking soda
- 1/2cupliquid soap
- 1/2cupwater
- 2tablespoonswhite vinegar
DIRECTIONS
- Stir liquid soap into baking soda.
- Add the water, and stir to be as smooth as possible.
- Add the vinegar and stir again.
- Pour into a squeeze bottle.
- (A clean, empty ketchup or syrup bottle works well.) Shake well before using, and keep tightly closed between uses.

INGREDIENTS
- 1 (8 ounce)packagecream cheese
- 3/4cupsugar
- 1 (12 ounce)containerCool Whip
- 1 (20 ounce)cancrushed pineapple, drained
- 1packagefrozen strawberries, thawed
- 2largebananas
- 1/4cup crushedpecans
DIRECTIONS
- Place strawberries in water to thaw.
- Cream together cream cheese and sugar.
- Add Cool Whip.
- Drain pineapple and add to mixture.
- Add strawberries (and any juice) to mixture.
- Slice bananas into 1/4″ slices and add to mixture.
- Mix thoroughly.
- Spread into oblong pan,then sprinkle with crushed pecans.
- Freeze until firm-overnight is best.
- Thaw at least 30 minutes before serving.

INGREDIENTS
- 2lbsground beef
- 1/2lbpork sausage
- 2eggs
- 2/3cuphalf-and-half
- 1/2cupflour
- 1teaspoonsalt
- 1/2teaspoonpepper
- 1/2teaspoonginger
- 2tablespoons mincedonions(or more)
DIRECTIONS
- Mix all ingredients and refrigerate overnight.
- The next day form into meatballs and brown in a skillet.
- Place the browned meatballs in a large baking pan.
- Make a gravy using the drippings in the skillet adding flour and beef broth.
- Simmer gravy and pour over meatballs.
- Bake 1 1/2 hours at 325 degrees.
